Ribbon Flowers

I just have to share these amazing flowers with you. Wish I could take credit for these flowers, but I can't! I found them in a book I bought last weekend and just LOVE them. The book is called 52 More Scrapbooking Challenge. Here is how you make these amazing flowers!

First take a white piece of cardstock and draw a swirl where you want the flower to be.

Now take your ribbon and line it up at the start of the swirl and than start sewing.
As you sew you need to gather up the ribbon--this creates the ruffless. Continue sewing until you reach the center. As you see in the next 3 pictures.

Now you have a completed flower. Just trim away the paper and place on your LO, card or altered art and add embellies to comeplete the look.

Here is a LO I recently did with some ribbon flowers!

Thanks so much and happy flower making!
